Qualified MB ChB from Sheffield University Medical School 1977, FRCS (Eng) 1982, awarded MD (Sheffield) 1988. Appointed Consultant Surgeon with a special interest in Vascular Surgery 1989. Royal College of Surgeons Surgical Tutor at Cheltenham General Hospital since 1992. Special interests include venous leg ulcers (establishing the Gloucestershire Leg Ulcer Service in 1995), autologous blood transfusion in aortic aneurysm surgery and transthoracic endoscopic sympathectomy in hyperhidrosis.
