Clinical Director of General Surgery and Urology at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital 1992 - 2001. Member of Council of Association of Surgeons of Great Britain & Ireland 1995-98.   Honorary Secretary of the Surgical Club of South West England 1995 - 2001 Regional Specialty Adviser and Chairman of Regional Training Committee for General Surgery since 2000 Special interest in surgery of abdominal aortic aneurysms and the Gloucestershire Aneurysm Screening Programme, established in 1990.
